About the Author

I am not really a critic. I am a 22 year-old who enjoys listening to music and has very strong opinions towards certain bands and artists. I made this blog for the purpose of reviewing music I enjoy and dislike as well as explaining the significance behind certain trends and the latest appeals in popular music (and to relieve stress, which is very important in this fast-paced society). Writing about music is my way of alleviating emotions and making life more enjoyable.

In order to establish background and context behind my reviews, I usually listen to Rock and Alternative, hence the frequency of artists under those genres in this blog. I grew up listening to The Beatles, English bands, and music that used to be played on Fuse in '03-'05. My listening habits tend to go through phases where I will listen to bands from a particular decade for quite some time, so you might notice a sequential pattern on the artists and genres I am listening to as I publish reviews and other posts. With that being said, I hope this blog gives you new insight and exposure to artists you may have never thought to listen to before.
